    Attaching

    Attaching the hood (A, B, D)

The hood can be sewn on: sew together row 1 of the hood and row 1 of the collar.
The hood can be held on with snaps. Place the bottom half of 5 snaps evenly apart on row 1-2 of the collar, and place the top halves of the corresponding snaps on row 1 of the hood. To line them up properly, I like to place stitch markers where the snaps will go after trying on the cape.

Attaching the top and bottom cape (C, D)

The capes can be sewn together by sewing together row 1 of each cape.
The capes can be attached with snaps. Place the bottom half of 7 snaps evenly around the neckline of the bottom cape, and the top half of the corresponding snaps around the underside for the neckline (not collar) of the top cape. To line them up properly, I like to place stitch markers where the snaps will go after trying on the cape.

    Fastening the cape (all models)

The cape can be fastened with a brooch or you can attach a pair of clips or a buckle to the outermost layer of the cape.
