Ice yarns nr. 55306, silver, 50gr = 250m, 50% merino wool, 50% polyamide

Suggestion Needles / Hooks: 3 mm. US 3

Abbreviations :

Fsc: foundation single crochet
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet (1 yarn over)

Project Note:

I cast on 51 foundation stitches to make two centre shells, used 2 skeins of yarn (100 grams). It is very soft, glittering yarn, easy to work with. The end result is stunning, love it a lot!

Stitch Guide:
■ Foundation Single Crochet (Fsc): chain 2, insert hook in first chain of chain 2 (nearest slip knot), *draw up loop (2 loops on hook); draw through first loop (**ch 1 made - still 2 loops on hook); draw through remaining 2 loops. Fsc made. Insert hook in ch 1 of previous stitch, repeat from *.

Note: Pattern is a multiple of 17 stitches; 34 gives one center shell section; 51 gives 2 shell sections.

To Start: Fsc 34

Row 1 (Right side):
• Chain 3, 4 double crochet in first single crochet,
• Working in both loops,
• *skip next single crochet, [double crochet in next single crochet, skip next single crochet] 7 times **,
• [5 double crochet in next single crochet] twice;
• repeat from * to last single crochet, end at **;
• 5 double crochet in last single crochet; turn.

Row 2: Working in front loop only, chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across and in top of chain-3; turn

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for pattern.
