Ice Yarns Bermuda Mohair Black (fnt2-35047): 70% mohair, 30% acrylic, 100g, 500m, size 3 light
Suggestion Needles / Hooks: 3 mm. US 3
12 sc = 2"/ 5 cm

Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Half double crochet (hdc)

Row 1: ch 1, sc in first 25 stitches, hdc along 170 stitches, sc in last 25 stitches
Repeat row 1 until the wider edge measures 34” (86.4 cm). Finish off and weave in the ends.
Fold the piece in half lengthwise.
Seam each sleeve 8” (20 cm) or as far as you can while being able to get your arms in and out comfortably.
Sc evenly around the body and the cuffs, finish off and weave in ends.
This pattern was heavily inspired by the Pearl Pal Shrug pattern from Stoles & Shrugs | Spinnerin Volume 122 (1953). The original design can be found here but I rewrote it with some alterations in order to modernize the pattern and accommodate it to the larger 21st century wearer.
