Double crochet stich is most common in crochet stiches.it is taller than single crochet and half double crochet.
you can use this double crochet stich in any project you want with any yarn and hook.you can add your own thoughts while making some thing with this amazing double crochet stich.
1)Tie the slip knot.
2) chain 12
3) yarn over and skip the first chain.
4)insert hook in second chain from hook and pull through.
5)now you have three loops on hook yarn over and pull through 1st two loops.remaining two loops left on hook.
6)yarn over again and pull through other two remaining loops on hook.your first DC is ready.
7) repeat above steps of double crochet and complete the first row with 11 double crochet stiches.
our first row is made .let’s start second row of double crochet stich.
1)Chain one and flip your work.
2)yarn over and insert hook in very first double crochet stich of previous row.
3)yarn over again and pull through the 1st two loops on hook .
4)then yarn over again and pull through from other two loops.
Repeat for remaining double crochet stich of previous row.
This granny square is a lot different than the normal one. It goes in spiral rounds and requires a constant change in colors. But it’s your choice on how many yarn colors you choose. In my opinion, it’s real beauty is shown only when different colors are used.
I have used 4 colors: yellow,pink, purple and white. It’s totally up to you what you use. The stitches used in this pattern are sc,hdc,dc .

The rug is worked using tapestry crochet technique. When you are about to change color, start your sc (the last before the color change) but complete it yarning over with the new color. Then work in sc the number of stitches needed in the new color crocheting around others yarn colors so you carry them along through your work. Repeat it for every color change.

After trawling the internet, I could not find the angel tree topper I wanted to make, so I just made one myself.

I developed this pattern when I realised that my regular handbag was too big to lug around everywhere. Once I had devised the shape for the bag, I couldn’t help but think of food.
This pattern was heavily inspired by the Pearl Pal Shrug pattern from Stoles & Shrugs | Spinnerin Volume 122 (1953). The original design can be found here but I rewrote it with some alterations in order to modernize the pattern and accommodate it to the larger 21st century wearer.

My fellow intern and general partner in crime from nine to five wanted an extra special birthday gift for his girlfriend. He sent me a photo of her beloved childhood toy, you know, the one you take with you everywhere and end up battered and well loved, and asked me to crochet a shiny, new replica. This ballgown is a labour of love that took over 18 months to complete. I wanted a technical challenge, to push the limits of crochet – I am also a huge Frozen fan. I took crochet to the next level by making a complete ballgown, as well as a necklace and cuddly snowman.
